OUR STORY

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charity organization.

We’re on a mission to fund initiatives to advance the care and research around cancers for which there is limited clinical and patient knowledge and understanding.

The Laughlin Family Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit public charity founded by Craig Laughlin and his wife Linda.

Craig is a former NHL player and current TV analyst for the Washington Capitals on Monumental Sports Network. Craig has long supported the DMV community for over 30 years with various charitable endeavors, and has now forged his own foundation to help fight this devastating disease.

Linda, Craig’s wife of over 40 years, was diagnosed with uterine serous carcinoma in 2018, a rare endometrial cancer which only affects approximately 6,000 women per year in the United States. She has since dedicated her time to helping patients like herself who have been diagnosed with rare cancers.

The Laughlin Family Foundation believes that every cancer deserves a voice... and a cure...no matter how rare the disease.
